I Only Have One A Burning Desire

Let me stand next to your fire.

Three days of exams left. They couldn't be over quicker. Textiles tomorrow will most likely be literal laugh-out-louds, seeing as I don't know anyone who is revising, nor do I know how to revise or what the hell it's going to be about. I'm going in open-minded, not really nervous, I'm not really bothered about Textiles. I already fucked it up with my coursework anyway.

Chemistry went as well as could be expected, perhaps even better, though not to the extent that I could say it actually did go well. It was satisfactory. If I was to guess I shouldn't be able to expect anymore than a C, I am terrible at Chemistry, hopefully though my grades will even out to bring it up to a B with my past exam and coursework. I'm going to be a bit gutted if I get any C's, except if it's in Textiles. However, I have to keep in mind that with my sciences especially, I have been learning 2 years worth of stuff in a matter of a few hours. Before I thought I'd lost my Physics revision book and almost died. Was having visions of not being about to answer any questions in the exam, failing miserably without it. After about 45 minutes searching, I finally found it in my bag, where I'd put it this morning. Fail. Me, Chantal, Burgs + Chrissie went to the field and burnt the great majority of my Chemistry books from the last 2 years. It was raining pretty heavily but we got ourselves a nice little bonfire there for a few minutes. The aim was to revise, but we got distracted by playing cards instead.

I am so excited for summer now that the end of exams is near! I updated my itunes with almost 200 songs today. Most of which were more that I found in my Dad's collection, including the old Beatles songs that remind me of countless car rides with the family, the ones like "Get Back", "Blackbird" and "Piggies", The Beach Boys Sounds of Summer, the stuff like "Surfing U.S.A" and "California Dreaming" and Jimi Hendrix because I've realised I could quite easily spark off some kind of obsession with this man, he was literally amazing. I seem to find something new in my Dad's collection everytime I search it, he has an unhealthy amount of Bruce Springstein, which is surprising, seeing as I never remember him actually playing any Bruce Springstein, but maybe that's just because I know about one song of his and then my knowledge goes KAPUTZ.

I think my favorite Beatles songs would have to be "I'll Be Back" and "Eleanor Rigby". Have you heard those ones?
