Resolutions!

I got thinking about New Year Resolutions earlier today, even though I never stick to them and always end up thinking "well, maybe next year..." I decided to give it another ago:

• I should eat more healthily.
• I should read more books.
• I should revise more and listen more in lessons.
• I should be nicer to my mum.
• I should spend less time on the computer.
• I should get a job and save up my money.

I started on them already. Tonight I took my mum to see Twilight, because I had a little feeling she'd like it. Let's start off by saying me and my mum have never been to the cinema along together before, we never do anything together and generally our relationship is very rocky to say the least. She really enjoyed Twilight and I loved it even more the second time. I'm hoping that things will get better in 2009, because I can't really be bothered constantly being in some kind of pathetic war with her.

New Year's Eve itself is obviously going to be a disappointment this year. There is nothing to do, and my parents have decided that I'm going to go down to Cambridge with them to their friends. This does not sound like fun. I'm trying not to be too annoyed about it, but there's not much else I can do.

I'm getting obsessions with Twilight and in general the men Vampire. I was so excited today because I received an email telling me that my books had been sent to me, so I should get them within the next few days. I really want to get into Gone With The Wind, I've started it but I'm only about 20 pages into it. I highly doubt I am going to wait to finish it before I start on this series. I can't wait!
